Propel(x) Alumni Buzz
Motion Gestures, a Canadian startup specializing in Artificial Intelligence-based hand tracking and gesture recognition software for 3rd party cameras, recently announced that it has closed USD 2 million pre-series A financing.

Led by Mr. Allen Miner (Forbes Midas List investor who helped build Oracle Japan and Salesforce Japan), other investors in this round are China Canada Angels Alliance, Keiretsu Forum, Propel(x), Golden Triangle Angel Network (GTAN), and Udtara Ventures.

Note: Motion Gestures is a Propel(x) alumni company and closed fundraising through the Propel(x) platform in 2017 and 2020.
    CAGE Bio Inc. recently announced the closing of a $7.2 million over-subscribed Series A financing. The company is a privately held clinical stage company and currently working to build a proprietary deep eutectic ionic liquid platform to develop novel products for dermatology, inflammation, and immunology. Cage Bio's mission is to develop highly effective topical products for localized treatment thereby minimizing side effects from systemic exposure.,

    Bounce Imaging, a Propel(x) alumni company was recognized by Forbes as a rising company in first-response and defense. The company develops throwable cameras and sensors to aid first responders in disaster recovery efforts. The cameras are embedded with best-in-class real-time omnidirectional image stitching algorithms.
