In January this year, Joshua Siegel from Michigan State University and Sriram Krishnan  from MIT put out a letter sharing their definition of deep technology.

Public Opinion
In our previous poll, we asked "Propel(x) covers six sectors within deep   technology. If you were investing, which one would you invest in today?"

With rising popularity of companies such as SpaceX and Impossible Foods , it was interesting to note that Aerospace & Transportation and Food & Agriculture were the most preferred sectors.
